About All Things Applied AI
About us
All Things Applied AI publishes guides to using AI in everyday work, organized by job function: sales, finance, operations, HR, legal and support.
Not professional advice
We describe roles, programs and markets and what the evidence says about them. For a decision about your career, a contract, hiring or money, ask a qualified professional who knows your circumstances.
How we source
Every factual claim carries a numbered footnote to its source. If we cannot source a claim, we do not make it.
- What a company, program or certification offers comes from its own published pages, such as documentation, course and exam pages and job postings.
- Studies and reports are cited from the original paper or report.
- Salary and labor figures are drawn from primary data such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, public filings and published pay ranges, always with the date they describe.
Funding and recommendations
We do not accept payment for coverage, and we earn no referral or affiliate fees. We have a business connection with Torchlane. Torchlane offers AI FDE training and also introduces employers to forward deployed engineering candidates.
A few of our articles name Torchlane as "Our top pick", and every such recommendation carries the note right where it appears. A link to Torchlane passes through an address on this site that records the click before sending you on; the Privacy Policy explains what is recorded. We also share an analytics account with Torchlane, as the Privacy Policy describes.
We describe every other program, company and option in its own published terms, and we run no display advertising.
What we never do
- Tell readers that a job, a salary or any other result is certain.
- Accept payment for coverage, or recommend a company we are connected to without saying so in the same place.
- Make up authors, reviewers, testimonials, ratings, pay figures or statistics.
